OUR ACTIVITIES

TAK Alliance represents the interests of the TAK ecosystem — industry, developers, and the TAK Product Center — before Congress and the federal government. Our mission is to protect and sustain the Team Awareness Kit (TAK) ecosystem as a critical enabler of national security and public safety. By bringing together industry partners, government stakeholders, and the TAK Product Center, we aim to ensure responsible stewardship of the open TAK architecture and promote policies that enable TAK’s continued growth and success. Our activities include:

• Advocating for sustained funding and policy support for TAK as a critical national security asset

• Working to protect TAK's open, government-owned architecture from policy and procurement decisions that could fragment the ecosystem or introduce vendor lock-in

• Educating policymakers on the unique value of the TAK model — a force-multiplying, interoperable platform that serves warfighters, first responders, and federal agencies alike
